Maryland wins ESDAA track tournament PDF Print E-mail

The Eastern Schools for the Deaf Athletic Association (ESDAA) track tournament held at Maryland School for the Deaf today was won by boys and girls teams of the host school. Maryland boys team finished with 130 points, American School for the Deaf came in second with 74 points, and Lexington finished third with 67 points. Maryland girls team finished with 146 points, St. Mary's in Buffalo came in second with 66 points, and Learning Center finished third with 60 points. More details of the track tournament will be posted soon.

Rochester School for the Deaf Track May 1st Meet against St. Mary's School for the Deaf PDF Print E-mail

May 1st track meet between Rochester School for the Deaf and St. Mary's School for the Deaf at Buffalo. Rochester Boys won first place 10 out of 14 events. RSD Boys defeated SMSD 75-48.  RSD Girls only fielded 5 tracksters and finished 2nd or 3rd place in all of their events.  RSD Girls lost to SMSD by the score of 9-97.  The results were from RSD.

Alabama School for the Deaf shines at State meet PDF Print E-mail

Boys' and Girls' track teams from the Alabama School for the Deaf participated in the Alabama State Track meet held on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Birmingham Southern College. The girls team placed 5th and the boys fell short by 24.5 points in capturing the state title finishing 2nd to Cedar Bluff. Trey Gordon had an outstanding weekend winning the state title in 1600 and 3200. Both teams also captured the state title in the 4 x 400 relay.
