European Deaf Bowling Championships

The Austrian Deaf Sports Association wrapped up the 10th European Deaf Bowling Championships at Vienna last week with 201 bowlers from 24 countries.

May 19 - Trios Women

Russia women won gold with 3361. Finland was in second with 3198 and Ukraine in third with 3174.

May 20 - Trios Men

Russia captured the gold in the Trios with a new European record of 3740. Ukraine came in second at 3627 and Sweden in third with 3521.

 May 22 - Teams Women

Russia won the gold in teams tourney with 5573. Finland in second place with 5244 and Czech Republic in third with 5101.

May 22 - Teams Men

Germany captured the gold with 5892. Russia in second place with 5702 and Sweden in third with 5592.

May 22 - All Events Women

Nadeza Korablina of Russia had the highest score in all events with 4997 for an average of 208.2 for the gold. Olga Latina also of Russia won silver with 4747, 197.8 average. Stau Lintula captured the Bronze with 4515, 188.1 average.

May 22 - All Events Men

Frederic Delsol of France finished all events on top with 5055, 210.6 average to win the gold. Simon Wildnhayn of Germany won silver with 4990, 207.9 average. Vladmir Grigoyev from Russia finished with a bronze with 4895, 204.0 average.
