      Message from USFFD Commissioner

      Hello to the sports community!

Being elected recently to lead USFFD for the next three years as commissioner, I have set my goals which are straightforward.

Ø   Increase numbers of teams with better prizes for ranking teams.
      Ø   Increase prize giveaways.
      Ø   Increase awareness of USFFD.
Ø   Obtain more sponsors for future tournaments.

In the past, all champions received free entry to the next tournament. It will be changed to top three of each divisions. The first place will receive $1000, second place gets $700 and third place will get free entry to next year tournament. The total value of $9200 in cash prizes as opposed to $1700.

The USFFD website will soon receive its new facelift, along with a new and permanent logo with its identity standards. The quality of social media will be improved with a lot of updates and information to be disseminated to the sports community.

One of USFFD’s goals is to make sure the organization has a solid financial base. Securing sponsors was our weak link in the past and it must change. I as USFFD commissioner am committed to creating a "championship" atmosphere at every tournament for the next three years and should be continued for many years to come.

Lastly, I want to thank the delegates and fans in Austin, TX for their support and vote of confidence in me as their new commissioner of USFFD.  We shall together make USFFD a better and stronger organization!

      Warmly,

      Eric Hamlow
