Cranberry wins 48th FWGAD tourney

2017 48th FWGADDoren Cranberry won the open flight of the 48th Farwest Golf Association of the Deaf (FWGAD) tournament when he shot a 74 in the third and final round to finish the tournament with a score of 232. Siammone Manivong who held a three-stroke lead after two rounds had a disastrous final round tumbling from first to third with a 81 and a final score of 235. Daniel Aldaz took second with a final score of 234 after finishing the final round with 77.

Michael Finnegan shot a solid 77 in the second round to separate himself from the rest in the Senior Flight and eventually the championship with a final score of 238. John Rush finished second with 243 and Jose Sermeno rounded out the top three with a score of 260.

Ed Waterstreet nudged Kenneth Loui by three strokes to win the Super Senior Flight, 275 to 278. Ed Leighton finished third just one stroke back with a final score of 279.
