Mabashov wins third SEDGA open championship

SE Deaf Golfers AssociationMichael Mabashov won his third Southeastern Deaf Golfers Association (SEDGA) Open Division championship in four years with a final score of 224. The 48th annual tournament was held at the Clustered Spires Golf Club in Frederick, Maryland.

Mabashov held the first-place spot all three rounds shooting 77,73, and 74. Keith Worek finished second with a final score of 232 and Timothy Dapp rounded out the top three with 235.

Scott Davidson captured the Seniors Championship with a final score of 234 and Michael Finneran came in second at 240. Davidson and Finneran had identical scores of 83 in the first round and 79 in the third round. The second round was what separated Davidson from Finneran when he shot 72 while Finneran scored 78. Ebbie Bosworth finished third at 251.

Patrick Cullen won the Super Seniors championship edging Daniel Krapta in a first-hole playoff. Cullen and Krapta were tied at 246 and Demetrious Gioupis came in third at 250.
