Deaf Sports AustraliaDEAF athletes are being forced to work multiple jobs and fork out up to $25,000 to play sport at a professional level because of a federal funding shortfall, according to the country’s leading deaf sportsman.

Securing funding for Deaf Sports Australia (DSA)— the main body representing deaf athletes — is more than a wish for Northcote Leader Sport Star and basketballer Sam Cartledge, it’s a mission.
