WASHINGTON, D.C. – Kevin Cook resigned from his post as the Gallaudet University women’s basketball coach for personal reasons as announced by Director of Athletics Michael Weinstock. A search for Cook’s replacement will begin immediately.
“I want to thank Coach Cook for putting Gallaudet University women’s basketball on the national map and raising the bar of our program. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Gallaudet University will once again participate in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Pink Zone initiative on Saturday, February 19, when the men's and women's basketball teams play host to North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foe Keuka College at the Field House. ABINGTON, Pa. – Three minutes and the Penn St.-Abington women's basketball team stood in the way of Gallaudet University escaping Thursday night's road conference game with win No. 22. Unfortunately, for the Bison an eight-point lead evaporated as the Buff and Blue missed their final three shots, turned the ball over four times and sent the Nittany Lions to the foul line five times for nine attempts. WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Gallaudet University women's basketball team moved up one spot to No. 19 in the latest USA Today/ESPN Division III coaches' Top 25 poll run by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). The Bison (18-0) collected 52 points and are sandwiched between No. 18 Louisiana College (17-1) and No. 20 Calvin College (17-3). The highest the Bison have ever been ranked by the WBCA is No. 16.
