USADVSince birth, Kelly Kyle Kidd ’16 has had a significant hearing impairment that requires her to wear bilateral hearing aids. Some may see that as a disadvantage in life, but Kelly has never let her impairment get in the way of her plans. After a distinguished high school career, Kelly played as an outside hitter on the Butler Women’s Volleyball team during her undergraduate years. Playing a Division-1 sport is no easy task, but such an undertaking takes on another level of challenge when playing with an impairment.
