mssd eaglesModel return to the championship game after beating Yeshiva in the semi-finals 13-3 on Tuesday May 10th. Behind Strong pitching from Blake Immellischo who recorded his second 2 win of the season with 9 strikeouts allowed for model to get their bats warmed out. Ryan Baldiviez hit a 2 run Home Run on Gallaudet baseball field to put the game out of reach for good.

On May 12th, Model faced Spencerville in the Championship game at Wheaton Regional Park, MD.  Model did not start out very strong, giving up three runs in the first 3 innings, however behind strong hitting from Albert Blake and Shane Hagwood, MSSD got back on top.  The win gives Model its second season league tournament championship in a row.  They also won the regular season championship going 8-0 in the league.
