Kansas @ Neesam Classic

Girls Basketball

Kansas rode on the backs of Kaylee Wells and Madison Welch at the Neesam Classic this past weekend at Minnesota to claim their second straight championship. Wells and Welch scored in double digits in all three games to power Kansas to a 3-0 record and the tournament championship.

Boys Basketball

The Kansas Jackrabbits went 2-1 at the Neesam Classic last weekend held on the campus of Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf. Kansas had a chance to win the Neesam Classic championship after dominating Iowa and Wisconsin when they faced the host team, Minnesota in the weekend’s final game. Kansas was shot down 60-40 allowing Minnesota to win the championship over Kansas and Wisconsin when all three finished with an identical 2-1 record based on points differential.
