Maryland escaped with a win when Fremont’s final shot at the buzzer did not go in. Rajena Guettler picked up a double-double leading Maryland with 16 points, 15 rebounds, four steals, and two assists.

With the win, Maryland will face Texas in the championship game for the fourth straight year and the Orioles will look to extend their championship streak at Clerc Classic to five.

The Wildcats took a lead 20-12 at halftime and we kept at it for the rest of the game to finish St. Mary’s with a 43-21 win. Courtney Gentzke scored 16 points while McKenna Girod earned 8 points and three rebounds. Cah'ryn Moquette grabbed eight rebounds and Emma Kane scored six points with three assists.
