'I can and I will': Inside how Frisco Centennial's Lily Crane overcomes deafness on the court

Frisco Centennial HSFRISCO -- Last month, Frisco Centennial's Lily Crane was asked to go one-on-one against a McDonald's All-American nominee.

Crane was given the assignment of guarding Frisco Lone Star superstar Mallory Adams, a San Diego State signee who averages 22 points per game.

Midway through the second quarter, Crane forced Adams into a tough shot that was missed. Crane got the ball in transition and fed teammate Kaila Gilmore for a fast-break layup. On the next possession, when a free throw was missed, Crane alertly tapped the rebound to a teammate, which led to another Centennial basket.
