Kew Forest 0 Lexington 6
Jackson Heights, N.Y.- Kew Forest showed up with two new players that did not play in our previous match. We controled the game by using our GREAT DEFENSE. We scored 5 goals in the first half to take control of the game to allow all kinds of subsitutions by mixing up players playing not their normal positions also allowed every member on the team to have more than 12 minutes of playing time per player! It was fun to watch the 2nd half as I am proud of our players playing full force defense to keep possession as much we could. Noel Carino made 5 saves in 1st Half. Kristian Jimenez made 4 saves in 2nd Half. Both guys did fabulous job goaltending.
Goals scored: Satish kicked a corner kick to Ramond Devarez for a head butt to score at 50 seconds of the game, Tyler Horner scored at 3rd minute mark on a dish from Suraj Ghale, Suraj Ghale scored on an nice assist by Madine Metfah at 15th minute mark, Satish Thapa scored on a nice pass from Santiago Guerrero at 33rd minute mark, Satish scored his 2nd goal of the game on 2nd assist of the game from Suraj Ghale, and at 68th minute mark Noel Carino scored his goal on a long pass from Raymond Devarez as Raymond was playing fullback position.
Wednesday, October 19th game has been canceled against Martin Luther HS due to too much rain water on the turf. We could not come up with a make up date so it has been canceled and we have clinched the IPPSAL league as #1 rank for playoffs as we have one more league game on Monday, October 24th at home against Upper Room Christian School at 4 PM. But that is not our next game! As we will partake in ESDAA Metro tournament hosted by New Jersey School for the Deaf on Friday, October 21st and Saturday, October 22nd.

American 2 Lexington 7
West Trenton, N.J.- Lexington traveled to NJSD for the ESDAA Metro soccer tournament. We won an easy game as I pulled out my starters in half way through of 1st half and allowed the subs to play the whole 2nd half of the game. It was sad to find out that American had four players that did not travel with the team, one of their best player was one of them. Raymond Devarez goaltended for the first time in his carrer and allowed a goal while making 3 saves in 1st half as Tahner Chowdhury took over goaltending in 2nd half and allowed a goal and made two saves.
Scorers: 2nd minute mark: Noel Carino dished an assist for Suraj Ghale's goal, 4th minute mark: Satish Thapa scored, 10th minute mark: Suraj Ghale made a nice assist for Satish Thapa's 2nd goal of the game, 17th minute mark: Madine Metfah kicked a nice shot to score, 45th minute mark: Noel Carino scored, 55th minute mark: Christian Maldonado scored, 57th minute mark: Raymond Devarez scored.

NYSD (Fanwood) 0 Lexington 1
West Trenton, N.J.- Lexington faced a lot of pressure from the Tornadoes as they showed up the game with a lot of passion to try to end our streak and take the championship home. But Lexington got away winning its 4th ESDAA Metro championship in a row. Our boys played hard and so well to keep the game in our control as it was scoreless at halftime. We scored the goal on 63rd minute mark for the only score of the game to win this hot contested match. The sole goal was made when Satish Thapa dished out for an assist for Noel Carino to score at 43rd minute mark. Kristian Jimenez goaltended for the Blue jays and kept his goal allowed for the season to ZERO as he made 7 saves. Kristian did not travel with the team on Friday but came down on Saturday to partake the tournament.
All Tournament Team: Madine Metfah, Suraj Ghale, Noel Carino, and Satish Thapa.
