CSD Eagles swept a BCL (league) softball doubleheader, beating the Grizzlies 14-9 and 13-3.  I think we’ve got to get better every single day and practice at game speed. Also, we’ve been working really hard on offense this season.

The Eagles trailed 10-7 going into the bottom of the seventh, Junior Olivia Stein out, when freshman DH LiAn Jackson walked, led off the inning, Junior Brittany Dike, reaching on an error by Valley Christian Pitcher. Sophomore RI’Chara Glenn singled, score Jackson.  Freshman Darriyan Thomas out, then Junior Alexandria Brinkley-Green singled, Eagles had full load bases with two outs then Senior Samantha Hyland hit 3 RBIs triple to center to score Dike, Glenn and Brinkley-Green.  We won the game!!!!  Fans of Eagles, many thanks for your support with us!!
