      St. Mary's Girls Track Update

Despite the beautiful weather yesterday and a lot of great individual efforts by the Lady Bison’s, we were unable to come away with a victory over the combined team of Cardinal O’Hara/Nichols.  The final score was 63-44, however, the Lady Bison’s placed first in more than ½ the events and we achieved 3 individual personal records throughout the course of the track meet.  It should also be noted that rookies, Monica Burger and Jamila Torres really paid their dues yesterday by pushing their bodies to their physical limit and truly gaining the respect of their teammates, coaches, and the team they competed against.  Please come and support the girl’s track team tomorrow morning at 10am as they host the 3 rd annual Lou P. classic here at SMSD against PSD and RSD.

      Thanks,

      Coach Booke & Coach Albenasi
