We placed 4th place at ESDAA championships hosted by RISD on May 14th. Our team flopped a bit, as we couldn't bring two of our best tracksters to ESDAA. We did our best!

On Wednesday, May 25th, we ended our season participating in Metro League Track & Field Championships hosted at Astoria Park, Queens, NYC. This is league's third year running Track program. Lexington Boys and Girls have won previous two championships. This year, our girls came so close and fell in 3rd place only by 9 points in overall standings. But our boys fared so well and won 3rd championship in three years. This tournament allows you to put four athletes in each event as we only have six schools that are members of this league. This league is a low key and is made to encourage students at disadvantage levels to compete among eachother. We participated three meets before this tournament. Lexington Boys fared so well this year as seven of our boys broke their personal best at this meet, which was a shock for me. I guess it was the warm and beautiful weather that helped us, as it was a 80-degree day.
